I’ve missed a few of these, and I’m a tad late with this one. My attention’s been diverted as of late so bear with me.
It may not look like it, but there’s a lot going on for this lunar cycle based on the New Moon aspects this time around. I’ll explain.
This New Moon Itself
New Moon Gemini peaks at 24 Gem 03’01” on June 14th, 2026 at 7:54 PM PDT / June 15th, 2026 at 2:54 AM UTC.
This New Moon takes place in Gemini, third sign of the zodiac, associated with how we communicate to others, and also more localized travel and short-term trips and such. Given that it’s in the third decan of Gemini, there’s an Aquarian and joint Saturnian/Uranian aspect to this as well. Expect events and communications of both harsher rules and rebellion against said rules during the next four weeks. We will also be seeing more messages and news regarding the tech sector and AI in general, given the trends so far.
Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which has just entered its pre-retrograde shadow phase. Our favorite time coming up, of course. Gemini can be known to turn on a dime and what is set in stone one minute is blown to gravel the next. It’s like we’re attempting to please two or more masters during this lunar cycle opening up. So be ready for anything.
Sun conjunct Moon is the quintessential aspect of this and any New Moon. New projects, new ventures, new adventures, and new drama. You’ll be hearing about plenty of activity and there will be quite a bit of going to and fro getting things done (or attempting to at least).
Side note: This New Moon in Gemini also takes place within minutes of Donald Trump’s precessed solar return, so whatever I mention here will be very pertinent to how things go with that guy for his entire next year (assuming he makes it that long). So pay special attention to this and to whatever he says is happening. And adjust your expectations accordingly.
Other Aspects to this New Moon
Words of War
There are no major planet or point aspects to this New Moon. No nodal aspects, nothing like that.
That said, New Moon Gemini does square Nessus and Buysballot in Pisces. So we can expect that there will be backroom deals and some technological manipulations behind the scenes that will be shaping important negotiations and procedures for the next month. This is particularly important during a major midterms election year.
New Moon Gemini conjunct 11144 Radiocommunicata also ramps up the propaganda quotient exponentially. This isn’t a “trust, but verify” moment here. This is a “pay close attention and don’t believe everything you see or hear” aspect, especially with deepfake and AI-manipulated footage out there. As far as interpersonal communications? Make sure you’re absolutely sure you know who you can trust.
New Moon Gemini square 5264 Telephus and 2878 Panacea in Virgo also affects news and communications this cycle related to mental health and other aspects of well-being. We could also find ourselves overcompensating and obsessing over every detail, wondering if we’re doing enough to change things up for the better (such as getting back in the saddle of a health and fitness program). Don’t go so hard that you injure yourself. You don’t need to catch up that badly.
There is also an asteroid Yod from 11911 Angel Retrograde (Rx) and 37117 Narcissus Rx from Scorpio and 7470 Jabberwock Rx to New Moon Gemini. So some decidedly self-inflicted fallen angel action and monstrous trends could be in the making. Be very careful who you trust.
Other Notable Aspects During this New Moon
Mercury in Cancer conjunct 16 Psyche, 1912 Anubis, 10 Hygeia, and 1388 Aphrodite brings us themes of how we communicate with our families and in our private lives, and this will greatly impact our mental health in ways. Do pay attention to that “voice in the back of your head” if something seems off.
Mercury in Cancer square 763 Cupido and 5180 Ohno in Libra, and also square 149 Medusa and a wide square to Saturn in Aries also ramps things up a bit.
The Saturn-Mercury link is weak, but does point to some conflict in how we want things to go in our more private relationships, but we’re probably looking at this from a place of ego. Saturn doesn’t do well in Aries, it’s a bit of a “slow down” in a sign associated with Martian “go go go” energy.
The other caution is betrayal. Mercury also opposes 407 Arachne Rx in Capricorn and, to a wider degree, 128 Nemesis Rx, so if anyone strays or cheats, it’s going to be bad and it’s going to be way more involved than expected. It could even hit the level of divorce court and other sanctions by authority figures. So don’t stray. If you must dissolve a relationship, do so from a place of integrity because it’s going to blow up in your face if you do it otherwise.
Stronger relationships and those meant to last longer than this immediate period will be challenged, but should endure. So don’t look at this as fatalistic right off the bat.
With Blessings Come Catharsis
Chiron in late Aries (and about to cross into Taurus briefly) squaring Venus in Leo and Jupiter in Cancer does indicate some level of pain and healing to come, probably coming from our own place of self and ego.
We’ll have some level of expectations that we know we don’t see being met, but there’s still an opportunity to grow and gain some sort of blessings in our private lives and in our more creative aspects. This could also be a good time to hunker down and work on a creative project of some kind, be it music, art, literature, journaling, whatever suits you. Do something to channel what’s been bothering you and make something beautiful out of it.
This could also be a time we don’t find appreciation for what we’ve been doing for others or creatively. Or, we could be hit with a major wave of writer’s block or otherwise blocked from doing the other side hustle or side projects we’d rather be doing. (Believe me, I’ve been struggling with this since New Moon Aries).
Create anyways.
Opportunities Do Exist, Be Ready to Act
Mars in Taurus does bring some energy for stabilizing and acting on some more lucrative ends. One of the major themes I’m seeing here is Mars trine 19 Fortuna in Virgo, Putting in the work and catching the major details should bring some kind of blessings.
Mars sextile Mercury, 10 Hygiea, 1388 Aphrodite, 1912 Anubis, and 16 Psyche in Cancer also plays into this. In your more quiet downtime, definitely take advantage if you can and create, journal, meditate, do whatever improves yourself. Seriously. I think this is a good lunar cycle to do some groundwork in the shadows and prepare for better times ahead.
Mars also trines 128 Nemesis Rx and 407 Arachne Rx in Capricorn, so isolate whatever’s snaring you from authority figures and in terms of your career and reputation, and start taking measures to correct the situation. This will manifest with more people standing up to their elected and appointed officials, and some of them will be forced to back down from more draconian mandates. Preferably without harsh measures, but I can imagine in some areas that this may take more… forceful means. I’m thinking of the “blade runners” um… “removing” cameras in the U.K. and also increased opposition to surveillance tools like those Flock cameras that are showing up in entirely too many places.
The fact we have Mars square 4386 Lust Rx in Aquarius plays into this opposition to the surveillance apparatus. Too many reports of some law enforcement officers using Flock camera footage and records to keep track on girlfriends and exes, per some reports online. Abuse of power potential is too high for this to go unanswered. But the people are fighting back from what we can see from the other aspects.
Keep up the good fight, and don’t get into bad fights you don’t need to.
Rebellion as a Rite of Passage
Uranus in Gemini square North Node Pisces/South Node Virgo shows that we’re at a decision point. Do we trust in our intuition, or do we stick to the status quo and paralyze ourselves with analysis?
100 Hekate and 69230 Hermes with the North Node point to listening and paying attention to the messages the universe is sending us, whether we want to hear or not.
829 Academia with the South Node makes this rather interesting. A tendency to rely on analysis and established study is the other choice, and possibly closing our minds to more abstract possibiities.
Uranus trine Pluto Rx in Aquarius may act as a bit of a guide here, as we’re starting to see some drawback and reversal of the AI trends in a way. Opposition to data centers is delaying or cancelling some projects, for example. Important given the environmental concerns.
Uranus conjunct 8690 Swindle, Sedna, and 1181 Lilith also adds to this. Plenty of exposure and opportunities to backroom deals, opposition to restrictive contracts, gag orders among local councils regarding tech projects (and other projects, I’m sure). And people getting more vocal about making their displeasure known at the betrayal of those elected (or selected) to lead them.
There is also the potential for innovations now with Uranus apexing a Minor Grand Trine, being sextile Venus in Leo, Jupiter in Cancer, and Neptune in Aries. We can expect some level of creative self-interest leading to a discovery or invention that should upend things considerably.
We should also consider that, by the next New Moon in Cancer, Mars will join Uranus on July 3rd. So these themes of rebellion, dissent, vocal opposition to abuse of power, and creative outlets flowing forth? These will all be amplified as this lunar cycle continues. Be ready for anything to happen, as things could get quite… explosive.
Hopefully not more literal than fireworks on the Fourth of July. Yet, there are many who don’t feel like celebrating anything.

In Closing
This lunar cycle in Gemini will be an active one, for sure. The New Moon’s ruler is slowing down for its retrograde in the later part of the month, so don’t expect communications and contracts, much less any other major decisions, to be intact by the next lunar cycle for whatever reason. Sometimes some revision is needed. Other times, things are pushed forward in bad faith and thus needs to have a light shone on it.
There is the potential for deception and backroom deals that will affect us badly, so be aware of what your so-called “leaders” and “officials” are doing.
