This Full Moon could be low-key… but it won’t be.
It’s a supermoon. So it’s amplified. And a whole lot more is going on in a few packages.
The Full Moon Itself
Full Moon Taurus goes into peak effect at 13 Tau 22’53” on November 5th, 2025 at 5:19 AM PST / 1:19 PM UTC.
The Full Moon here in second decan of Taurus adds to it a service-oriented Virgo vibe, invoking the details of Mercury… which is in its pre-retrograde shadow phase, so this is further warping the energy of this lunar culmination point.
Resources, and us figuring out how to get those, bolstering our stability in chaotic times, that’s the theme we’re dealing with now. This follows up the start of the lunar cycle that occurred with the New Moon in Libra earlier.
As with all Full Moons, Sun opposite Moon brings about a time of peak involvement with projects, wrapping things up, maybe not nicely with a bow this time. Quite frankly, there’s a lot of chaos with this completion period with the Sun travelling through Scorpio. There’s a great deal of hidden shadows hovering over our homesteads, or wherever we’re trying to lay our heads these days. We are entering the holiday period, so themes of shared resources funneling into our own coffers (or the other way around with all the bills and tariffs we’re paying now)… it will be interesting to see how this plays out in budgeting for the near future.
And… we have an actual Mercury retrograde period about to begin. So many projects and relationship changes and such will be having some serious second looks later on.
Other Aspects to this Full Moon
Cheating Hearts and Maury
Quite frankly, no major points or planets in transit are aspecting this Full Moon other than the Sun itself, from what I see in orbs of influence I would consider. This is rather unusual.
Full Moon Taurus involves a square to a couple asteroids of interest: 55555 DNA in Aquarius, and 545 Messalina in Leo.
DNA to me denotes just that: factors regarding DNA, genetics, etc, and this in the sign of unconventionality and marching to the beat of one’s own drum.
Messalina, of course, is named for a very promiscuous Roman empress who had… a little problem with faithfulness.
So this could be a period where we uncover infidelity, and perhaps some babies on the way from people who aren’t the actual partner.
55555 DNA also conjuncts Swindle and Pallas, so there could be some paternity test shenanigans. Or more questionable health products and rulings from health authorities now. Be careful. Lots of snake oil and fake products on social media for health benefits these days too.
Messalina, meanwhile, conjuncts Bologna and Gold. With that complex of opposition, this further drives home the point of “buyer beware.” Do your research, and make sure it’s a reputable site that isn’t just simply trying to sell the competitor snake oil to the first snake oil.
Full Moon Taurus trine 26955 Lie in Capricorn does enable us to see past the deceptions a little more easily if we get up off our asses and look.
There is also a trine between Full Moon Taurus and 19 Fortuna in Virgo. Keep a keen eye on the finer details, and be methodical. You may catch something that would cost you greatly down the road, so take care of those problems now. Repairing a problem? Repairs are a Mercury retro theme. So get that maintenance done before it becomes catastrophic later.
And if the catastrophe already happened, the post-mortem should yield answers a little more readily this time.
Again, without major bodies involved, the influences of these aspects to the Full Moon will be reduced. But still present, so don’t dismiss it completely.
Other Aspects Active During this Full Moon
Here We Go Again
Mercury is in pre-retrograde shadow, with the actual retrograde occurring on November 9th and running to November 29th.
So even now, we’re seeing technical problems, glitches, travel delays, etc.
With the federal government shutdown now the longest on record, believe me, those TSA agents and air traffic controllers are not going to be pleasant without getting their regular paychecks. Not that the airlines aren’t having enough issues keeping things going. Alaska Airlines especially with the recent glitches (though earlier incidents occurred well before this Full Moon, the Microsoft Azure outage affected them greatly… during this pre-retrograde shadow.)
This lunar cycle warns us to keep an eye on our money, and in shared resources as well. Racking up debt is likely, so make sure you’re spending on what needs to be spent on right now.
The SNAP benefits chaos is another manifestation of this. Glitches with money, delays in getting money, you name it. People working without being paid, or can’t be paid at all yet. I would hate to be a federal contractor right now. (I did four years as a state government worker, and contracted at a fortune 500 company several times, so I am well-familiar with bureaucracy being the antithesis of progress).
Prep for Maintenance
Mercury conjunct Mars in Sagittarius and sextile Pluto in Aquarius indicates some opportunities in grabbing the reins, and coming up with some innovative solutions to our more hope-killing problems.
Mercury is, of course, the communicator, messenger, and represents our day-to-day travel. Mars is passion, drive, ambition, but also anger and the potential to deck someone who is pissing us off.
Pluto is death and rebirth, destroyer and renewer, the bulldozer that knocks down the strip mall so someone can build condos or whatever is the next vanity project. Ok, not just vanity projects.
The sextile between both areas here does point to an opportunity to review some things, and start planning for repairs and executing some contingency plans.
Mercury does apex a yod from asteroids 1388 Aphrodite Rx (retrograde) and 10 Hygeia in Cancer, and 433 Eros Rx in Taurus. Considering what I said about DNA-Messalina, yes, this is another consequence of being unfaithful: carrying and transmitting something to the actual partner.
Mercury does also sextile 763 Cupido and 55 Pandora in Libra, so yes, there is some potential here for someone to sweet-talk their way out of trouble… for a time. But there’s a Pandora’s Box involved. Maybe a ticking time bomb. Be careful.
Uncertainty in Love and Money
Venus in Libra apexes a yod from Neptune retrograde, which just reentered Pisces for the last time, and from Uranus retrograde in Gemini, about to reenter Taurus. So pay attention to some insights and/or subconscious urges in regards to moving money around, to partnerships of all kinds (business, romance, etc.), and how money is going to impact your relationships.
I can imagine a good deal of hard discussions about spending and getting by with Venus square Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Aquarius. So we are seeing major shakeups in finances and friendships too.
Things are not particularly stable right now. Speaking of…
Carnage
Mars at 0 Sagittarius opposite Uranus Rx at 0 Gemini, and Sedna at 1 Gemini really makes a mess of things.
Mars, passion, drive, energy, raw sexuality at the critical beginning degree of Sagittarius. We’re feeling a bit more optimistic about getting things done and maybe looking forward to a chance to get away from it all. But Uranus, rebellion, sudden changes, surprises, it’s throwing all sorts of crap into the machinery. Things are volatile. Arguments are rife. And there’s a massive deal of ultra-challenging combinations when it comes to maintaining a stable relationship or whatever the hell people have now.
Devils are in the details with this opposition alone.
Mars sextile 157 Dejanira at 0 Libra indicates a time where someone abused, a victim of things like assault (of all kinds) can dig deep and find their power. And with Dejanira trine Uranus Rx, this can lead to some revisions to agreements and boundaries. Use the traumatic events and find your voice and power, and break past it and leave the destroyers in the dust where they belong. If not sending them straight to hell where, again, they belong.
Find your voice. And revise some of the notes in the symphony of your rebirth.
Mars trine Neptune Rx and Saturn in Pisces does allow us to use some of that brainstorming ability we have and just come up with some workable, realistic situations. Wild daydreams won’t work here, but some strategic thinking just might. Temper your hopes, but don’t lose them.
Rise in Power
Dejanira apexes an Air Grand Trine Kite from Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus Rx in Gemini, and kited by the opposition to Neptune Rx in 29 Pisces and 6157 Prey Rx in 0 Aries.
Dejanira is the victim’s asteroid, and right now the planets of death and rebirth, and that of revolutionary change and rebellion, they are in alignment with a great deal of air energy. Those who are the underdog or counted out are taking this more, “easier” energy and rising in their power.
They’re tired of being hunted, and are retreating and regrouping to retake their power now. In a sense, we saw this in the elections tonight stateside where this just wound up being a rebuke to the influence of Trump and his inner circle. How else can we describe some of the returns?
Certainly some soul-seeking is needed.
In Closing
This Full Moon is deceptively calm, but it’s anything but.
It’s amplified being a supermoon, being closer to Earth than the average, and is more prominent now in effect and in the sky. But what it lacks in major alignments, it makes up for in the secondary alignments we’ve seen.
There’s a great deal of changes being set in motion now, and there are going to be quite a few fractures and splits in relations and alliances.
Expect losing sides to start pointing fingers and eat each other.
Leopards eating leopard faces. That’s the kind of thing we’re looking at, and at this point, the antelope are sharpening their antlers.
The prey have the opportunity to hunt, and retribution is slowly beating its war drums.
Guard your resources and capability to function. And expect events to accelerate.
