Full Moon Sagittarius 2025

How optimistic are we feeling about the future?

Time for some hot splashes of reality. The cold splashes are done. Now the floor is lava.

The Full Moon Itself

Full Moon Sagittarius enters peak intensity at 20 Sag 39’01” on June 11th, 2025 at 12:43 AM PDT / 7:43 AM UTC.

This Full Moon takes place in the third decan of Sagittarius, giving with it some fiery Leo/Solar vibes with it. While Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the lord of optimism, luck, and higher philosophy, the Sun influence here adds some desire for good times, creativity, and involves some matters regarding children and romance.

Yet this time, things are not so optimistic. We’ll get into that in a moment.

Some of us are wanting to go out and see the world, while others are considering philosophy, creating under said philosophies, and seeking the meaning of life.

At this point, the meaning is to survive, live to fight another day, and choose a path forward.

The primary aspect of Sun opposite Moon signals a culmination and completion point for some projects and activities, particularly those started at the beginning of the lunar cycle with New Moon Gemini earlier. Of course, we’ve been faced with some major changes since that New Moon graced us a couple weeks prior.

So, the question we now face is: what do we believe in?

Other Aspects to the Full Moon

Gate of Destiny

Full Moon Sagittarius squares the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo, effectively forming a Grand Cross.

Think of the nodes as a gateway of sorts. The North Node is the path we’re on, where we’re focused on getting to. Essentially, it’s the milestone on the path to our development. In Pisces, we are currently facing off against the unknown, the hidden enemies and threats, as well as higher mysticism and the subconscious. For some, the unknown is the hidden threat.

The South Node, by comparison, is the comfort zone, where we come from, and where some of us retreat to when things get tough. In Virgo, this would deal with our routines, obligations, and for some of us, pets and health.

Now, Full Moon Sagittarius makes a wide conjunction to 26955 Lie retrograde, warning us to not fall for false philosophies, false religions, false gods, and certainly not false god-kings. Both of these oppose 2601 Bologna and 14827 Hypnos in Gemini, so be well aware that the bullshit is flying in record amounts, and that’s saying something. Plenty of propaganda is being spewed at us.

Even more telling, Full Moon Sagittarius squares Nessus on the North Node, pointing to the confrontation of the obsessed and the abusers of power that lurk as hidden enemies now. Or maybe not so hidden… but who is pulling the puppet strings?

Full Moon Sagittarius also squares 13897 Vesuvius which is with the South Node in Virgo. Tensions have built up and are now exploding. What was once routine is now a flashpoint.

Recommend extreme caution and don’t let your guard down, especially if you’re in major cities right now. Especially Los Angeles. We’re already seeing the eruption.

Other aspects going on are further feeding into this.

Other Aspects Active During This Full Moon

Pissing on the Parade

Jupiter has just entered Cancer, sign of its exaltation. Problem is, it’s squaring Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Let’s break this down.

Jupiter has entered the sign of its exaltation in Cancer, and normally this would expand themes of home life, our private lives, and enhance our ability to be in touch with our emotions. Some good optimism and feelings of “yeah, this will go well!”

Slow down. Because Saturn in Aries squaring this slows down Jupiter’s roll, and puts a wall in front of things. And Neptune here with Saturn, here in Aries? That makes the square even more contentious.

Saturn is discipline, hard work, but also constricts and restricts. And in Aries, it’s rather forceful about it. Aries is war, being Mars-ruled. Aggression, heavy assertiveness at best. Ego, self.

Neptune here in Aries isn’t shy about speaking up, and it’s in the realm of blurting out ideologies. It wants what it wants, and it wants it now. Yet Saturn is here, tightening the chains.

Now both of these squaring Jupiter? Things aren’t feeling so lucky on the home front now. We’ll have to fight for our homes, for our privacy, for our right to feel good about… anything. It’s not impossible to get ahead, but it’ll be a hell of a lot harder now.

So any of these other people telling us it’s all wine and roses with Jupiter now in Cancer? Well, someone used the wine bottle as a urinal and corked it up. So check the vintage.

Now, Jupiter conjunct Mercury, also in Cancer, does let us express our… dismay at the state of affairs. And Saturn and Neptune squares Mercury as well, and it is grabbing the bullhorn to shout at whatever’s holding us back. And the authority figures? Well, they’ve got rubber bullets ready to shoot and silence us.

The people aren’t going to STFU. This combination ensures things get louder.

Jupiter and Mercury sextile Mars in late Leo adds some fiery energy and flair to this conflagration. People speaking out are going to be a little bit more emboldened now. Maybe they actually make some headway to changes. But it’ll still require work. One cannot sit on their ass and expect the sextile to take full effect.

Gotta get out there and do the work.

Protecting Your Property

Venus in Taurus, in one of its better signs, squares Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. This can be a real pain in the ass.

The thing about Venus in Taurus is, it likes the stability. It likes the comfort, the resources, and the assurances it would normally give partnerships and the like. But Pluto, destroyer and renewer, it’s at odds with Venus here as the Lord of the Underworld is in reverse motion in upstart Aquarius.

Think of the jobs being threatened if not actually lost with the advent of AI. (Aquarius deals with technology, after all). Our stability, money, resources, they’re all not feeling so secure, and some of us are dealing with some real shakeups here.

3402 Wisdom conjunct Venus helps somewhat, as if we act wisely, we can weather the storm being brought upon us by the destroyer. Venus sextile Mercury and Magion in Cancer also helps us make the magic happen, and perhaps we can brainstorm a way out of some sticky situations.

Jupiter in 0 degrees Cancer does also make a wide sextile to Venus, further allowing some good fortune to be possible for us. We just have to be wise about things. (Good thing Wisdom is here).

However, Venus opposes Vesta retrograde in Scorpio, and we’re finding what we hold sacred and dear under threat by hidden threats and even death in some cases.

Are you willing to die (or make others die) to protect what’s most sacred to you?

This got dark fast.

Revolution

Uranus in late Taurus squares Mars in late Leo. This is a volatile combination.

Uranus doesn’t like being in Taurus, as it’s the rebel of the cosmos, and Taurus is stability. Squaring off and making this harsh aspect to Mars, the god of war, anger, aggression, and raw sexuality, it wants to rip its shirt off and go full William Wallace on whatever it even thinks is holding it back.

Mars wants to make things happen. Uranus wants to make things happen. The problem with the square aspect here is, they want to make things happen now, and it does not care what gets torched in the process. Like, say, automated taxis in the middle of a protest zone where people have had enough of government abuse. And the government sending in the military in an unconstitutional violation of Posse Comitatus. Not that people give a shit.

Or, under this regime, a typical Tuesday.

Uranus sextile Saturn and Neptune in early Aries does moderate this a bit. Some potential defusing of tensions given some serious negotiation, reigning in of passions, and the like may reduce the severity of the ongoing carnage. But without serious efforts to moderate passions, I wouldn’t count on it.

It’s more likely Saturn-Neptune sextile Uranus will see more effective means of furthering the chaos and harnessing that.

Uranus tightly conjunct 34 Circe suggests some magickal workings are stirring things along. Whoever is casting the spells and sowing all of this rebellion and chaos knows what they’re doing, so keep your psychic and spiritual defenses at maximum.

Chaos With Purpose

Chiron conjunct Eris in Aries denotes a time of major wounding and potential later healing in the heat of discord and chaos. We’re talking real “launch the ships and lay siege to the city of Troy” vibes here. Yes, Trojan War-class stuff. The stuff that leads to giant wooden horses and the sacking of cities.

Chiron and Eris trine Mars signals that the chaos may be able to be harnessed effectively to get things a little closer to where we want them, but we’ll have to dodge some flaming catapult fire to get it done.

Pallas retrograde in Aquarius sextile Chiron/Eris urges us to look within for our own wisdom and not fall prey to the carnage. This will involve going against the grain and maybe doing what’s not so popular to do the right thing, whatever that may be. It could even be knowing some sacrifices have to be made for now to get to the better position in the near (we hope) future.

Finally, Pluto retrograde quincunx Mercury challenges us to make our views known, but it may not come across the way we’d like. There’s a lot of noise on the airwaves and online. Do we speak out about the craziness, or do we err on the side of saving our own asses?

Pick your battles carefully. These are tricky times, and the unhinged are out there.

In Closing

We’re at a crossroads, and we have to make some choices now. Obviously, the world is changing rapidly, and the march of history has arrived at our gates.

You’ve got some major decisions to make in your own life, and this can feel just as much as a trial as the labors of Hercules. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos, and this could cost you everything if you’re not careful.

Speak truth, but be smart about it. I think this mess in Los Angeles, especially with the Full Moon onset coming, is only the beginning.

We’re about to turn a page into a gory chapter, so protect yourselves and the ones you love.

Don’t pick fights you can’t win. Live and win another day.
