Despite all the chaos and confusion, we’ve got an opportunity for clarity this lunar cycle. And knowing what needs to go.
The New Moon Itself
New Moon Scorpio goes exact at 28 Sco 11’54” on November 19th, 2025 10:47 PM PST / November 20th, 2025 6:47 AM UTC.
Now this New Moon close to the end of Scorpio is forcing us to confront the deeper mysteries we’ve got going on with ourselves. The esoteric, shared resources and money, as well as loans and other debt, our sexual urges and events, and of course, death itself. There’s also an element of our more private lives and our home and mother wound issues come up too with the Cancerian subtlety of the third decan of Scorpio.
Sun conjunct Moon denotes the beginning of a new cycle of events, learning, and themes playing out. New projects, new adventures, these start shaping up now. Maybe not going exactly to plan, as we’ll get into soon. At any rate, the Martian and Plutonian influence of this New Moon in Scorpio will definitely be highlighted in discarding what no longer serves us, or what we can no longer serve in some cases. Lots of stress around this holiday period as well, so do try to remain calm and keep some good vibes going, not angry vibes.
Easier said than done this time, but there’s some opportunities here.
Other Aspects to this New Moon
Do What Must Be Done, and Be Clear
New Moon Scorpio apexes a Water Grand Trine Kite, with a trine to Jupiter retrograde (Rx) in Cancer, Saturn Rx and Neptune Rx on Scheat in Pisces, and an opposition to Uranus Rx in late Taurus.
We’ve covered the New Moon itself in Scorpio, creating one of the anchor points of this emotional, mental Water Grand Trine. Deeper mysteries, shared resources and debts, and so forth.
Jupiter Rx in Cancer forms a second anchor point. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer which strengthens its optimistic and expansive nature. But it’s also retrograde, so that can get muted a bit but is still there bestowing some blessings and luck, within reason. In third decan of Cancer, it’s got a Piscean/Neptunian vibe to it, so pay attention to your subconscious and gut feelings when it comes to fortune and protecting your home peace.
Saturn Rx in Pisces forms the third and final anchor of the Water Grand Trine. Saturn here is clearing the fog of illusions and bringing reality to the eye a bit more than we usually would like. In third decan Pisces, there’s a Scorpionic feel here. Basically, Saturn is revealing the ugly truths we don’t want to see here. And retrograde too, so we’re confronting how we’re blocking ourselves from moving forward.
Neptune Rx here with fixed star Scheat adds some illusion and potential for drowning our sorrows a bit much here. Relapse is a real danger for those who have fought and struggled with addiction at this point. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help if you’re in this circumstance. Neptune Rx conjunct 6157 Prey in Aries also denotes some question of if someone is being hunted or preyed upon, so definitely consider who your friends are, and who’s playing at being a “friend.”
With the three points here, we’re looking deeply at our emotions, our feelings, and our overall gut feeling as well here. And Uranus Rx opposing the New Moon brings an air of unpredictability into this lunar cycle, particularly where our money and property are concerned.
But it gets better: New Moon Scorpio also conjuncts Mercury Rx and Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, and a wide conjunction to 128 Nemesis at 0 degrees Sagittarius. So we’re being forced to confront our pasts even more than normal, and we also need to consider who is a friend and who is an enemy or adversary, or even someone you trusted that’s been using you all along for their own desires and not truly considering you.
And… all of this could be immediately and blatantly apparent with more red flags than one would find in Beijing.
But…
We have the Dark Side of the Grand Trine. A tendency to not act, to “see where things go”, and then not acting on what you know you need to do. Which can be cutting things off and ending things, and with Mercury retrograde’s case, not going back to exes and reading the damned fine print in contracts.
The devil’s in the details with this one.
New Moon Scorpio / Mercury Rx / Black Moon Lilith square 6583 Destinn in Aquarius, we’re finding we’re at odds with feelings of destiny in the most unexpected places. Perhaps you’re involved romantically or sexually with someone but you’re really supposed to be with someone else. Or, perhaps you’re thinking about launching a new venture, but you’re unsure if the timing’s right. That’s a decision you have to consider and make. No easy answers with this harsh square aspect, and with the shadows of Lilith and the reversal of Mercury to consider, you may not even be able to make a final decision yet.
Finally, New Moon Scorpio sextile Pluto in Aquarius may allow us to see some alternative solutions on what needs to be discarded so we can move forward and go on with our lives.
Other Notable Aspects During the New Moon
You’re… the Father… Maybe?
Venus in Scorpio square 8690 Swindle and 55555 DNA in Aquarius suggests you really look into that paternity test if a bun is put in an oven during this lunar cycle. Someone could be putting on on you. Or in you.
Make sure there’s faithfulness in your partnerships or other arrangements here, and if not, then consider your actions carefully. What else have they lied to you about?
And ladies, if a man says he’s sterile and you’re not planning on building a family with him, chances are he’s not sterile.
Beyond the obvious sexual and childbearing implications, there’s also the possibilities of falsehoods and misdiagnoses in the medical field. A chart could get mixed up in the hospital, a typo in a medical billing system, something like that.
Even a diagnosis of a common cold and it turns out to be stage 3 lung cancer. Or vice-versa. Imagine getting chemotherapy for the sniffles.
Venus square 1027 Aesculapia in Leo also adds to the medical mayhem a little bit. Maybe someone’s in residency and trying to make a name for themselves and guesses a diagnosis. Or a politician somewhere puts an 11th-hour rider into a must-pass bill which threatens to gravely affect certain products and derivatives that have medically-valuable benefits but are politically inconvenient to some donors, and thus needs the competition out of the way.
All That Glitters Ain’t Gold
Venus trine North Node, 7328 Casanova, and Nessus Rx in Pisces adds some interesting twists.
Venus, of course, is the planet of love, beauty, relationships, money. It’s not strong in Scorpio and thus takes on a darker tone. More seductive, more prone to harsh lessons about money and relationships and trust and all that.
The trine makes this a little bit easier, but probably not by much. With the North Node and Casanova together, it seems we collectively have a lesson to learn about deciding which suitors, potential partners, potential sales, etc. are the best fit for us.
Nessus Rx here in range of the trine, this does allow us to maybe sit back and think hard on whether a particular link is good for us. Maybe you can fix him or her… but should you?
Maybe consider it’s not worth fixing, and you should fix yourselves. Or perhaps pair up with someone who’s willing to stand by you while you do your own fixing, and you stand with them as they do theirs.
Maybe you help fix each other.

Forceful Optimism
Mars in Sagittarius is with fixed star Antares, a more martial star. Antares is fiery, and Mars is also fiery. And in Sagittarius, this can get rather overoptimistic, and also angry when it doesn’t get its way.
Exercise caution when turning down suitors. And be aware of red flags if someone close gets more agitated. Doesn’t mean they’ll strike, but they do need to chill.
Mars conjunct 5239 Reiki does offer some hope of healing, perhaps by physical activity. So hit the gym if you can.
Mars conjunct 99942 Apophis (destruction) here in Sagittarius also indicates the potential for some serious accidents if we’re not careful. That carelessness can be amplified by the Uranus Rx opposing New Moon Scorpio aspect also active, so be doubly-careful. There’s also Mars conjunct 389 Industria, so this will also be a lunar cycle to pay special attention to the military-industrial complex. Wouldn’t be surprised if a war starts to kick-start the economy again.
We also have to consider Mars square 1930 Lucifer in Virgo. Lucifer, in this context, is pride. Think pride before a fall. Perhaps someone out there is calculating a scheme to win someone over, but this may be for nefarious ends. Or even selfish ends. There’s also the potential for the road to hell being paved with good intentions here. Check yourselves.
Mars sextile 763 Cupido and 55 Pandora in Libra could indicate some budding links between potential partners or players, yet there’s the potential for some craziness to be unleashed when opening that box.
Lastly, a little bit of an Asteroid Fire Grand Trine with Mars apexing one point in Sagittarius, 114 Kassandra Rx / 1981 Midas Rx in Aries, and 4955 Gold / 2601 Bologna / 545 Messalina in Leo.
The Mars trine to Kassandra retrograde and Midas retrograde could give us some more satisfaction if we find our adversaries and opponents not heeding warnings and losing it all on a bad bet. On the other hand, we could have a little more mental clarity and avoid losing our own shirts on that bad bet.
On the other end of the asteroid Grand Trine, we’ve got Gold (self-explanatory), Bologna (think Baloney, BS, etc.), and Messalinia (promiscuity, and I’d argue infidelity / cheating). Remember, all that glitters is not gold. But it could be fun in the right circumstance. Be on guard if that’s not what you’re going for.
Overoptimism Before a Fall
Jupiter Rx in Cancer square Chiron Rx, 11144 Radiocommunicata Rx, and Eris Rx in Aries is rather telling.
Chiron is the wounded healer, where we hurt and where we heal our wounds. Retrograde, this is drawn inwards. We need to consider where we’re hurting ourselves (and others), and take some steps to stop the bleeding.
This could also involve some messages over the airwaves, most likely social media and texting with the link to Radiocommunicata. I imagine some news and some terse messages will play a part in whether we heal or hurt more after this lunar cycle.
And Eris, while retrograde, is doing its usual chaotic dance.
There’s really a potential for private misdeeds coming out into the open and some serious uncomfortable lights being shown on some people right now. Hopefully the same light will burn away false allegations some of us may face, so don’t think I’m just talking about certain political figures here. This affects relationships (including with ourselves, especially with Aries involved here), business partnerships, backroom deals, you name it.
Jupiter Rx square 3811 Karma in Libra is also telling. We might have gotten too complacent in some dealings with others, and need a reality check.
Think about that before linking up with that false friend in bed. Again. Or agree to another shady business deal that’s too good to be true.
Taking Back Power
Pluto in Aquarius sextile Ceres Rx and 6157 Prey in Aries does indicate this is a lunar cycle where we can get past some issues regarding nurturing and our home environments. Perhaps a time to do a little “spring cleaning” in the fall. Or get out of that abusive relationship that does nothing for you but leave you more used and doubting yourself.
Pluto trine 26 Proserpina and 5180 Ohno in Libra does indicate that even though we may have realized we walked into hell, there’s a way out. The luckier among us will be able to avoid any deals with the devil to get out, and hopefully not get snared back into things.
And for the love of the holy, don’t go back to shit you hate just to get by. There’s better things out there, even if it seems bleak. Maybe even under your nose.
In Closing
There’s a good deal of unpleasantness we’ll be seeing come up from beneath the surface this lunar cycle. But, there’s also an opportunity to take measures and do away with what’s not benefiting us.
It could be a bad habit, a connection that’s no longer useful, or casting away false friends that aren’t actually on your side.
Time to clean house. And if you have to sleep on a few decisions, do so. Make those decisions with as clear a head as you can, and make sure you don’t leave out any key details. Really easy to miss something crucial right now if you’re not careful.
And if you are careful and play your cards right, this could be the best lunar cycle we come to in awhile.
You never know, you could end up making the best bad decision you’ll ever make now.
