As Lunar Eclipses go, this one is shining a lot on a lot of things and… making things less clear than before? Sure seems that way to me. Let’s get into this one.
The Lunar Eclipse Itself
Lunar Eclipse Pisces is at its strongest impact at 15 Pis 22’31” on September 7th, 2025 at 11:08 AM PDT / 6:08 PM UTC. Think of a Lunar Eclipse as a supercharged Full Moon, and a North Node Eclipse at that. As this is a Full Moon, it falls under the influence of the preceding New Moon in Virgo from a couple weeks ago.
Rather than this being the culmination of just the next couple of weeks, a Lunar Eclipse will be felt for at least the next several months. Pay close attention to the themes playing out now. Some endings will come, but they may also act as doorways to new beginnings as well.
This Lunar Eclipse falls in the second decan of Pisces, giving us the primary Piscean influence of Neptune and Jupiter, yet also a lunar influence with the second decan having Cancer influence. So pay very close attention to your gut feelings and intuition in matters, as there’s downloads, insights, inspirations, etc. that we need to take into account now. What are we missing?
Pisces is also the 12th house of the zodiac, so be mindful of hidden enemies, detainments in institutions (hospital stays, incarceration, etc.), and anything that just doesn’t add up in reality. Illusions, delusions, addictions, all can play a role to a greater degree now.
Sun opposite Moon remains the primary aspect of any Full Moon, and this is true with a Lunar Eclipse as well. Sun in the sixth sign of Virgo shines a light on our routines, obligations, day-to-day concerns, and our health in many ways.
Those with personal planets (Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars) and/or personal points (Ascendant/Descendant, Midheaven/IC, North/South Nodes) from 10 degrees to 20 degrees in mutable signs (Pisces/Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius) will feel this eclipse the most. Especially those with solar returns within 5 days before and after this eclipse will feel it for the entire solar return year.
Vertex/Antivertex placements will feel this Eclipse most strongly in the 14-16 degrees of Pisces/Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius zone.
Other Aspects to this Lunar Eclipse
Confront Your Catharsis
Lunar Eclipse Pisces, 9770 Discovery, and the North Node forms a Water Grand Trine with Jupiter in Cancer (itself with 875 Nymphe), and Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio (itself conjunct 2063 Bacchus, 100 Hekate, and 5239 Reiki). Note that there is a Kite pattern with the Lunar Eclipse opposition to the Sun, Mercury, 15845 Bambi, and 55 Pandora in Virgo.
The Lunar Eclipse with Discovery alone suggests that this is a time where we must confront and face some rather intense emotions and doubt within ourselves. However, this can leave some of us feeling like a deer in headlights with the opposition to Bambi, and we’re really not going to like what we see with the opposition to Pandora either. What’s in the box? Could be overcriticism, could be words left unsaid (with the opposition from the Lunar Eclipse to Mercury as a factor), it could even just be the fear of not being good enough.
You likely are, or you’re likely not proving your worth to the right person or people.
Consider the North Node with the Eclipse. The North Node also conjuncts Nessus retrograde, so now is the time to stop torturing and abusing yourselves with your fears and misgivings.
The trines to the Eclipse also build onto this. Jupiter in Cancer alone expands our emotions, so whatever we’re feeling, we’re going to be feeling it a lot. But it’s tempered with the softer trine aspect. Some of these feelings are undoubtedly sensual or sexual in nature with Nymphe here.
The other side of the Grand Trine involves Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, a calculated point that exposes the shadow side of things, stuff beneath the deep that we need to bring to the surface and shine our light on… if we dare.
Bacchus here along with Reiki is interesting… perhaps we need to let go and heal ourselves by unwinding a bit. Trust your intuition a bit with Hekate’s guidance too. But you can’t be afraid to go into the shadows. Light your way forward.
Don’t Have to Go Alone
Lunar Eclipse PIsces (wiht the North Node and Discovery) also apexes a Yod Kite with Venus in Leo, and 11911 Angel and 258 Tyche in Libra (again, being kited by Bambi, Sun, and Pandora).
So, wanting to let loose a bit and still take on the fading energy of summer fun, but is what we see glittering really the gold we want? We’re looking at relationships and the fun, expensive things we want, but we’re unsure about things a bit. Maybe the wallet is a little thin to go for the prizes we want.
On the other hand, with Tyche in Libra, we may have to work with people we’re not really sure we want to work with. Or perhaps we’re working hard for that relationship we want, but we’re not sure if we’re getting anywhere. Angel here too suggests that maybe we’re getting some seemingly contradicting advice from our guides or guardian angels? Maybe they’re letting you come to your own conclusions right now. Or… perhaps they’re not giving you all the information you think you need because maybe it’s not the right question. Or even the right person or partnership?
This could also be a questionable business arrangement, so don’t think it’s all about romance here. Trust your intuition, and make sure it’s actual not-fallen angels that you’re listening to.
After all, it could be a gremlin in an angel costume giving you bad advice. So consider who and what you’re asking for advice from above.
Other Notable Aspects During this Lunar Eclipse
Reading Between the Lines
Mercury in Virgo conjunct 2629 Rudra, 5264 Telephus, and 763 Cupido is crazy enough as is.
Rudra is an amplifier asteroid from what I’m thinking here, so that further amplifies the communicative aspect and intuitive feelings we’ll see represented from Telephus (think telepathy). And with Cupido here, there’s bound to be some telegraphed feelings and flirtations we’ve been dealing with here. But is subtle working? Or are you getting crossed signals?
Maybe you’re sending crossed signals yourself.
Mercury sextile 14827 Hypnos in Cancer further amplifies this subtle messaging going on. Mercury trine 433 Eros in Taurus could imply that one party or another could be trying to buy someone’s love with money or stability or possessions. There is something to be said about showing that one can provide for one they love or want to work with.
There is also Mercury sextile 389 Industria in Scorpio, suggesting a meeting of the minds and perhaps pooling of resources to get ahead or to stay afloat. Think refinancing a loan, or cosigning on a line of credit. Just read the fine print.
Mercury trine Pholus Rx (retrograde) in Capricorn urges us to look at proposals with a sober eye now, and really eye those finer details.
Mercury square 3402 Wisdom in Gemini does warn us to watch for double-speak, and to also consider whether its wise to tip our hand so readily. Watch for double-speaking by the unscrupulous.
Watch for Vipers in the Grass
Venus in Leo square Black Moon Lilith, Bacchus, Hekate, Reiki, and 37117 Narcissus is a heavy warning to watch for manipulators who throw out false paths and “help”. We could be going all-in on a “sure thing”, only to find that someone was pulling your strings and just trying to fuel their own ego. Remember: the Trojan Horse was also a “gift” that kept on giving… and led to the burning down of an entire city.
But if you know what to look out for, you can sidestep the worst of the problems if you act cautiously enough. Venus trine Ceres Rx in Aries could have us withdraw into our home sphere to take care of things and have some rest in a more homely setting. That and maybe renovate and beautify the home a little bit. (Just be wise and watch for too-good-to-be-true goods and services).
Decide Wisely
Mars in Libra, already not in a strong position, square Jupiter and 875 Nymphe in Cancer isn’t the most fun of placements. There’s a potential for overoptimism, or perhaps not being hopeful enough in some encounters and torpedoing ourselves with “should I or shouldn’t I” thinking.
Mars trine 1181 Lilith Rx in Aquarius, itself opposing Jupiter and Nymphe, makes things a little more interesting. This different Lilith interacting with Nymphe does point to some decision-making in our more lustful desires.
We’ve also got Mars sextile 26955 Lie in Sagittarius, which might prove useful in sussing out some blatant BS being thrown at us by those selling us false hope. Mars sextile 19 Fortuna and 1930 Lucifer in Leo also helps a bit with making more fortunate decisions. And pride isn’t always a bad thing: If someone’s asking you to take a really shitty offer and you know you’re worth more than that, do decide on your integrity.
That said, I know some people are desperate to pay bills and rent and all. This job market I hear is complete ass, and the astrology here points to things getting rougher, but we also have to stand up for ourselves and not be exploited. So asteroid Lucifer here with Fortuna tells us to know our worth.
Mars quincunx Nessus retrograde in Pisces doesn’t help things, even with Nessus retrograde being with the North Node. While it’s good to have a level of healthy pride, don’t be an asshole about it. Also, there is the danger of being pressured into making a decision to join a team that doesn’t fit, or give a chance to that dating potential that really doesn’t work.
Mars trine 564 Dudu in Gemini could help us identify the crap being touted by malicious players, and sidestep that mess.
Another Look at “Fun”
Taking another look at Jupiter’s Water Grand Trine, we’ve got:
- Jupiter conjunct Nymphe in Cancer
- Jupiter trine 37117 Narcissus and Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio
- Jupiter trine Nessus Rx, 7328 Casanova Rx, and North Node in Pisces
There’s some really high potential for all sorts of romantic and sensual/sexual emotional entanglements here for the next several months. But… there’s the potential of escaping the snares from some selfish would-be lovers. And also the potential for recognizing some brutal relationship patterns and taking the steps to heal and start ending those patterns.
Figure out why you might be falling for those sweet-talkers, and stop torturing yourself and wasting time.
“Oh, THAT’S Why I Walked Away From That!”
Saturn Rx in Pisces on fixed star Scheat is definitely a review for those who still want to put rose-colored glasses on and see the best in everyone. The potential for betrayals and accidents, relapses, etc… yeah. We’re taking one last trip down the darker side of memory lane here. And Neptune Rx in Aries also conjuncts Scheat, but a little more widely. This, of course, pairs Saturn Rx in Pisces and Neptune Rx in Aries together in an offsign conjunction. So the illusions are definitely being laid bare. Yet people still fall for it.
Saturn Rx and Neptune Rx square 1388 Aphrodite at 0 degrees Cancer does point to trouble. Again, we’re being tempted by sexy bodies and sweet lies. And some of us are probably letting these instigators into our own homes and hearts. Saturn Rx and Neptune Rx trine 545 Messalina could tempt us to put up with it to get a little romp in the hay, but is it worth it? Maybe we put a lid on some of that and rethink just jumping into things.
This, of course, is wise if we act with some caution. Pluto Rx in Aquarius conjuncts 55555 DNA Rx and 8690 Swindle Rx, and opposes 545 Messalina at 0 degrees Leo. Also, both sets square 128 Nemesis in Scorpio. So, we could play around and give ourselves another package in about nine months or so (and maybe not know who the father is), or we could walk away from a messed up drama situation. Pluto Rx tightly squaring 151 Abundantia Rx in Taurus also warns us about those long-term bonds and binds some of us may either not be ready for, or think we’re ready for but really aren’t. Child support isn’t cheap.
That little asteroid Grand Cross with Pluto Rx and the others just mentioned could also impact planned expansions to families. Unexpected expenses and all, and the potentiality of partnership issues. Maybe in-laws get involved, or an ex of one partner or the other gets involved and makes this a federal case (figuratively. Maybe literally, depending how far things escalate in the worst of cases).
I’m imagining some real Jerry Springer/Maury Povich-style scenarios here.
A Trip on the Wild Side
Uranus retrograde in Gemini conjunct Sedna Rx in Gemini, and 1981 Midas Rx in Taurus could have us unearth some real issues with bad info, negotiations in bad faith, and the opposition to 149 Medusa in Sagittarius multiplies the potential for betrayal.
Add in Uranus Rx square 157 Dejanira and 26 Proserpina at 0 degrees Virgo, and we’ve got ourselves a serious trip-to-the-underworld vibe of navigating betrayals coming from out of nowhere… and the risk of betraying ourselves with inflated expectations.
Of course, Uranus Rx trine Pluto Rx / DNA Rx / Swindle Rx may help us recognize the chaos coming before we step into it, and with the Minor Grand Trine apexing at Saturn Rx / Neptune Rx, this is a good time to take a second look, recognize the betrayals coming (if any), and take prudent steps to protect yourselves and your own interests. It could even be something as simple as recognizing a pattern brewing from previous experiences, and taking action to get ahead of it. Think impending layoff, impending breakup, or even good things like unexpected job offers, a friendship becoming more (with expectations made clear to disarm any chance of issues), stuff like that.
Speaking of Chaos…
Chiron Rx and Eris Rx in Aries team up with 4580 Child Rx and 114 Kassandra Rx. So we’re looking to heal ourselves, and trying to brace against the chaos in our lives. Perhaps even turning some of that chaos into actual order.
This is undoubtedly forcing some to take care of and nurture their inner child. Also consider any warnings that weren’t heeded before (like red flags we may have painted yellow in our minds earlier).
Chiron Rx opposite 407 Arachne and 4464 Vulcano in Libra warns us to be aware of relationships and other binds that are not only tying us down, but also lighting us on fire. Some out there do have partners that would sacrifice them to an angry volcano god for a ham sandwich if given the chance…
Chiron Rx sextile 6583 Destinn Rx in Aquarius tells us that putting up with these inner wounds doesn’t have to be our destiny. Write your own fate and heal thyselves.
Chiron Rx square 4955 Gold in Cancer does advise us to save for a rainy day, as its easy to let your well-being go by the wayside when funds get tight. You might have to skip a couple supplements for a few weeks to make that one expenditure you need that gets something important out of the way (and maybe some money back to you down the road… hopefully).
Again, Watch for Smooth Talkers
Finally, Nessus retrograde with the North Node in Pisces opposes 447 Valentine. Be aware of sweet talkers and smooth operators, yet again.
Nessus Rx square 26955 Lie in Sagittarius and 564 Dudu in Gemini doesn’t make this any better. Some really ballsy bastards will keep drowning you in lies to get what they want if you let them. And with 11823 Christen with Dudu, for some of us, this could even be in the realm of organized religion. Make sure your institution of faith isn’t feeding you bullshit to get your offerings.
Of course, Nessus Rx trine 875 Nymphe and Jupiter does indicate we can sidestep the worse of this damage. Know what you will put up with for some fun or actual intimacy, and don’t give in to abusers and users.
In Closing
This Lunar Eclipse is definitely shining its blood-moon-tinted light on a great deal we need to confront in ourselves and in others right now. We need to not fall for the illusions and shadows, and hold ourselves true to our own integrity.
Making the hard choices may not be easy, but it’ll be necessary if we’re going to avoid the worst of the problems we’re trying to get out of.
