Full Moon Taurus – November 2024

Full Moon Taurus 2024

After the New Moon in Scorpio, we’ve got yet another culmination of chaos. And the vibes are… quite heavy.

The Full Moon Itself

Full Moon Taurus hits peak intensity at 24 Tau 00’45” on November 15th, 2024 at 1:28 PM PST / 9:28 PM UTC. This Full Moon in Taurus, second sign of the zodiac, pits our focus against our money, stability, wealth, and resources. Do we have enough? Not enough?

This Full Moon, being ruled by Venus, also occupies the third decan of Taurus, giving it a Capricornian vibe. Preparing for the future and protecting our station and any nest eggs we may have are of utmost importance.

The main aspect of Sun opposite Moon indicates culmination and completion. We’re wrapping up events and projects, and what has been sown is reaped now. Some of these fruits are of the darker variety, given the Scorpio New Moon influence from earlier. And with the Sun in Scorpio, we are looking into the underworld while we confront some real uncertainty in our ability to stay afloat. Some attain a higher station, while others are reaping ashes. In a sense, we’re also seeing the Scorpionic death of unsuccessful ventures, and the success of other ventures that required a lot of hidden, or occult, work behind the scenes.

Other Aspects to the Full Moon

Uncertainty

Full Moon Taurus conjuncts Uranus retrograde, asteroid 5180 Ohno, and fixed star Algol. This is not pleasant.

Algol is already known to be the most malefic star in the heavens, being the eye of Medusa in the constellation Perseus. And with the planet of change with the New Moon here, we are facing a lot of turbulent change, especially in money and our standing in how we gain and lose those funds and resources.

Ohno here is also telling. It means just that: “Oh no.”

Full Moon Taurus opposing 55555 DNA (itself conjunct the Sun) is quite telling given the nomination of Robert Kennedy Jr. to head the Department of Health and Human Services here in the United States for the upcoming… Second Trump Years. (SERIOUSLY?!!!! Yeah, Election Day turned out to be Judgment Day (I didn’t do an article this time), and turns out just like in Terminator 3, we only postponed it. NOT THRILLED.)

Yeah, this example is a shitshow! RFK Jr. is known to engage in conspiracy theories and has stated intent to fire about 600 or so people from this department. You know, vaccinations, health guidelines, so Uranus, “Oh No”, and the DNA stuff like diseases? Those are themes here. I don’t think I can bring a better example of this transiting combination to life at the moment. Fears of the next pandemic are already elevated among those not keen to this appointment.

Full Moon Taurus squares 1912 Anubis and 1924 Horus in Aquarius, and 5264 Telephus in Leo in addition to that opposition. It appears that there’s been some otherworldly influence regarding what’s about to manifest during this culmination period. Do not be surprised if you find your psychic senses in overdrive, or at least gut feelings like more is to come.

Neptune retrograde in Pisces sextile the Full Moon in Taurus does indicate a heightened chance of looking within and gleaming some wisdom or insight from the chaos occurring. Pay special attention to those fleeting thoughts, as they may not just be intrusive thoughts or daydreams.

Full Moon Taurus trine Ceres in Capricorn also plays a part in some element of protecting our homesteads and keeping some sort of shelter, even if not literal. Our institutions haven’t collapsed yet, and there may still be some stability to be found.

Pallas in Sagittarius making an awkward quincunx to the Full Moon does indicate some “now what?” energies that we’re all dealing with. Even victors are probably blindsided, and there’s a question of if they can wisely pull off the win that didn’t seem to come. Who else needs to consider the wisdom of their actions right now? Or did we unwisely jump into something that may upset things and lose it all?

Other Aspects Active During This Full Moon

Revolution Brewing

Pluto in the critical 29th degree of Capricorn opposes Mars in Leo, slowing down for its retrograde station in December. This powerhouse aspect brings with it trouble.

Pluto is in the last degree of Saturn’s primary domain, representing upheaval in our institutions and in governments. We’ve certainly had a shakeup.

Mars in Leo likes to have fun and let its hair down, but it is slowing down. Energy is becoming unstable, especially with the Uranian influence to the Full Moon itself. The amount of bravado being thrown around is also heightened.

Combined, Pluto opposing Mars brings trouble, violence, disagreements, and very bad judgement. We’ve recently been seeing reports of misogynous statements being made by very small, I wouldn’t even call them “men.” People foolishly going online and making bad jokes or actual threats like “Your body, my choice.” And the retaliation by those that statement is directed against has been swift, brutal, and career-ending in some cases from what I’m seeing. Good.

Rules. Consequences. FAFO. That is the essence of Mars opposite Pluto.

Mars opposes 114 Kassandra in Aquarius as well, and squares 157 Dejanira retrograde in Taurus with Pluto in Capricorn by extension. Kassandra is warnings unheeded, and Dejanira is the victim asteroid. And… yes. The victims are fighting back. Those saying really stupid things should have listened.

Mars and Pluto also oppose Juno, 4386 Lust, 2031 BAM, and 2598 Merlin in Scorpio. Some real underworld and out from the shadows effects here. Broken covenants and agreements are likely. Broken marriages are also happening in the aftermath of the U.S. Election, as there have already been a spike in divorce filings. Again, FAFO. And this is all hitting like a truck. A truck that seems to have some otherworldly or “someone cast a spell on the population” effect.

For those in better situations, Mars trine 433 Eros in Sagittarius, and also trine 1388 Aphrodite retrograde and North Node Aries may point to some possibility in the romance or lustful action department. Absolutely use caution, as this really is not the greatest time for new, serious partnerships. Remember, South Node is still in Libra, forcing us to consider the relationships we leave behind. Again, divorce filings and new, ahem, “conquests”.

Maybe conquests isn’t the best word right now, but… there’s a lot of conquering going on overall, so… let’s stick with it.

Pluto also does conjunct 4580 Child and 11144 Radiocommunicata in late Capricorn. Plenty of kids will be forced to grow up fast now, especially with the news over the airwaves. Our inner child in all of us will be severely… challenged. Pluto opposite 2878 Panacea in Cancer advises us to take care of our bodies in our private lives, and definitely to take care of our mental and emotional health. Pluto sextile Neptune retrograde further amplifies this self-reliance we’ll need to use now.

Not What We Want to Hear

Mercury in Sagittarius, currently in its pre-retrograde shadow phase (fun!) squares Saturn in Pisces, fresh out of its own retrograde motion. While we’d really like to go forth, see new lands, and convey our best hopes and plans for the future, we need to keep in mind that Mercury is weakened in Sagittarius (which opposes Gemini, one of its domiciles). The splash of reality is flooding us with a “hold up” energy from Saturn in dreamy Pisces.

The daydream is challenged, to put it mildly. We must face reality.

Mercury also opposes Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, which is also in a weakened position (Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so its a double-hit of detriments). Our hopes are harder to come by, and we’re forced to take care of matters closer to home. And we’re not being heard.

Mercury square Nessus retrograde, also in Pisces, ramps up the pain. Some real potentials for abuse or for obsessing over what “should” have been will only bring us problems.

Black Moon Lilith in Libra sextiles Mercury, however. This might help us see beneath the deep surface in our relationships. Now, what we find when we look may not be good, but we can better process this.

Confronting the Future

Venus in Capricorn squares the North Node and 875 Nymphe retrograde in Aries, and the South Node in Libra. Lust, sex, it’s going to get us in trouble if we’re not careful. It’s already potentially derailing others, such as a couple cabinet picks with sex or underage scandals. Be careful where you dip your stick, gentlemen: not everything stays in Vegas.

Venus Capricorn sextile 4386 Lust and Juno in Scorpio is interesting for the actual, better, short-term flings. For a few people, it may even become more, in a good way. Don’t count on it, but if it happens, be thankful. I would also advise use protection if you do the “fun stuff.”

Be mindful that Dejanira retrograde in Taurus does oppose Juno/BAM/Lust in Scorpio. So yes, be careful if you do decide to go “play.” And some of the upcoming divorcees may quickly find other, more suitable partners. Most likely rebounds. And they should be mindful of retaliation from now-jilted soon-to-be ex-partners.

The Fix Is In.

Finally, 10961 Buysballot in Virgo conjuncts 8543 Tsunemi and 85047 Krakatau.

Buysballot suggests just that: buying ballots. And with Tsunemi sounding like “tsunami” and Krakatau sounding like “Krakatoa”, we have an explosive situation with people cheating to get ahead.

With the Virgo aspect here, we need to analyze and make sure our defeats were actually legitimate. This can also lead to or stem from claims of “landslide victories” when no such defeat or victory has in fact occurred.

Buysballot trine Venus and Ixion in Capricorn does point to some motive and benefit of putting a thumb on the scales. However, there is the risk of someone overstaying a welcome. Sort of like Elon Musk at Mar-a-Lago. Also be aware of those who are waiting to take advantage of you, when you think they’re on your side.

(Whether any of this applies to a certain election is… in the air. After all, the votes have to be certified as a formal part of the process, and there are recalls that are triggered in some races. We don’t know the final final results yet. As far as who really “won”? Honestly, both Trump’s and Kamala’s charts, as well as JD Vance’s showed and forecast heavy challenges yet to come. I didn’t check Tim Walz.)

In Closing

There is a potential for mayhem, chaos, and sharp gains and losses, and even reversals with this Full Moon. Nothing is at it seems, and we are at a crossroads while sitting on a power keg with a short fuse that’s lit and ready to blow.

Separations, breakups, those are almost certain for someone in your life. Whether that’s you or someone else, there’s going to be some shakeups.

Be aware of what you decide to invest in, if anything. The markets appear to be unstable right now, with some billionaires selling off some holdings, and the crypto markets suddenly pumping with some currencies. (Not financial advice.)

Do not bet more than you’re willing to lose. And don’t celebrate until the battle’s over.

And the battle has only just begin.
