Full Moon Capricorn 2025

The Full Moon in Capricorn comes at us quickly. And yet, fulfilling our desires is… elusive.

The Full Moon Itself

Full Moon Capricorn conjunction goes exact at 18 Cap 50’03” on June 10th, 2025 at 1:36 PM PDT / 8:36 PM UTC.

This particular Full Moon strikes within the second decan of Capricorn, a Saturn-ruled area with a slight Taurean feel. Governing institutions and their influence on our money, resources, and stability will be the highlight of the remainder of this lunar cycle. In short, regulations, taxes, rules, and our ever-present wallets.

Expect red tapes, procedure, rules, and fees.

The main aspect of Sun opposite Moon signals a culmination point where we finish off and/or put some polish on projects and tasks we’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. If things have gone well, our egos might feel a little better about things. If not, then we’ll just not feel like we’re doing enough. Which may not be true: perhaps you’ve done all you can considering the delays and obstacles. Some of the setup may stem from New Moon Cancer a couple weeks earlier.

What new edicts from the powers that be will we be subject to…. or blatantly ignore?

Other Aspects to the Full Moon

Be Careful Who You Hire

Full Moon Capricorn square 433 Eros and 5325 Silver in Aries warns us of the temptations of the flesh for cash, particularly if it’s merely to boost our own egos. While we may be tempted to take a few shortcuts, there can be consequences.

Full Moon Capricorn square 128 Nemesis, 69230 Hermes, and 389 Industria in Libra is the other side of this pattern. By seeking love or sex in the wrong places, you could make enemies where you don’t need to. Be particularly wary of workplace entanglements unless you’re ready for the potential fallout. Word has a way of travelling.

North Node in Pisces sextile New Moon Capricorn does lighten the load a little. Perhaps this is a detour that open a path to where we need to go.

Other Aspects Active During This Full Moon

Uranus Entered Gemini, Now What?

Uranus began its trip through Gemini (not counting its retrograde return to Taurus later this year) on July 7th, right before this Full Moon.

This marks a massive shift in energies for now. And this transit shows the preview of what the next several years will be as Uranus continues through the sign of the twins. And this is anything but steady. While Uranus wasn’t in its happiest place in fixed, earthy Taurus, Uranus breaks free and does so violently.

If you look at history, the United States either was born, or has been in some major war every time Uranus has been in Gemini, from the American Revolution, to the U.S. Civil War, to World War II, to… now.

So right now at this culmination point, we are dealing with rebellious and sudden changes in how we communicate, how we travel, and how we are heard. Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a major part of this, and the Uranus in Gemini trine to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius aspect further drives this point home. A.I. is here to stay. And the problems with this new technology are becoming ever-increasingly apparent, from workforces being replaced by A.I., rogue A.I. adopting the worst aspects of human thought, and most assuredly, there’s got to be some military lab somewhere integrating A.I. into the decision chain in next-generation military tech as to whether to shoot or not shoot someone… or bomb a puppy as the case may be. (I haven’t heard of that happening for real yet, but it’s not beyond the realm of possibility).

In general, as this is a generational transit, expect society to change markedly, expect new technologies to develop (particularly in communications, transportation, and information), and even the changing of national borders in some way.

Uranus in Gemini sextile Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries also adds to some of the ongoing societal and civilizational changes we are experiencing now. Rhetoric and ideology is changing and becoming bolder. Neptune and soon Saturn will return to Pisces for one final dip in the coming months, so what we’ve been experiencing with the disciplinarian and the mystic in the sign of self and new beginnings is just a previous of what will come for the next decade or more. Societal rules will change, and not necessarily (or at this point, likely) to the benefit of the individual.

Uranus in Gemini square 447 Valentine in Leo, and 12927 Pinocchio and 3811 Karma in Virgo also adds to the effect. Be cautious with new lovers coming out of nowhere, as you could fall for their lies and be manipulated into having a karmic baby. Don’t want one? Insist on protection.

Besides, Uranus conjunct Sedna is still active, and we could experience further betrayals from out of nowhere. Ladies, be especially vigilant with the men in your lives right now. And especially of certain ones in positions of power.

Mercury in Pre-Retrograde Shadow… Again?

Mercury is in its pre-retrograde shadow period now in Leo, and will be stationing retrograde in a little over a week after the Full Moon clears. Things are starting to slow down for us a bit, which doesn’t sit well with Uranus as it wants to go. But go where?

As we’re at a Full Moon point, probably not the best time to start anything new. Now coming back to older ideas we back-burnered? It could work, but do watch for the devil in the details.

As far as anything else related to fun and games and exploration, Mercury in Leo conjunct 763 Cupido and 2878 Panacea has the allure of sexual healing being possible. But… be careful with that again (especially if you don’t want to make karmic babies) as Mercury also opposes 55555 DNA retrograde and 8690 Swindle retrograde in Aquarius. There could even be uncertainty of paternity in this scenario… or perhaps some other surprises that wouldn’t sit well for us. Hopefully nothing medically wrong.

Mercury trine Ceres/6157 Prey in Aries and 26955 Lie retrograde in Sagittarius could alleviate some of the misgivings and concerns, provided we perk up our ears and catch these “not-what-they-seem-to-be” suitors in the lie. Mercury sextile 1388 Aphrodite in Gemini and 58534 Logos in Libra could also be helpful in maybe sussing out some true love or genuine interest. Be watchful.

All That Glitters…

Venus in Gemini conjunct 1981 Midas could have us feeling that what we touch can become gold. But that can also include the things you don’t want to turn into gold.

This might be a little easier to discern for some when Venus also is wide sextile to Neptune retrograde and Saturn in Aries. We have a chance to harness some inner mental discipline to choose the better paths forward for ourselves. This may be a good time to release that advertising or marketing campaign you’ve been working on. (If you haven’t started yet, it’s a good time to brainstorm for the future then).

Venus trine Pluto retrograde could be useful for finding some new ways to make money online, or at the very least be successful in having an online or media presence. Just make sure the ideas are somewhat grounded in the new reality we’ve got forming around us. The old rules don’t apply anymore.

Grounding Hopes In Reality

Jupiter in Cancer conjuncts 4955 Gold and 829 Academia, which on the surface would denote an amazing time to go for the gold and move forward with those lofty ideals… butJupiter makes a wide square to Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, so there’s a little bit of a stumbling block here. We’ve got to be a little more pragmatic and calibrate our enthusiasm.

But… there’s still potential here. Jupiter trine Vesta in Scorpio does help us define what’s more important to us a little better now. Even if what drives us is in the darker recesses of our mind and psyche, don’t discount it. Do what you need to do, but do it with intent and wisely.

In Closing

We can expect some hurdles and blockages from authority figures during the next couple of weeks after this Full Moon. But, we’ve got some potential to sidestep some of the problems here. We may just need to be a little more creative in how we decide to get past the problems that pop up.

However, some of that bureaucratic red tape stems from the fear of a rapidly changing future and world. And we’re having to deal with a changing landscape ourselves. Keep your attention where it needs to be, and you might be okay.

Anything could happen now. Take advantage of opportunities where you can, but again, be aware of issues before they become major problems if you can.

That said, with this much outer planet energy in Air and Fire signs, the potential of fast-moving disasters (such as the Texas floods) is … rather high. This would be a good time to check your emergency preparedness protocols. And keep those on standby for the next several years at bare minimum, because guaranteed you are going to have at least a few disruptions.

This may be the last best chance we have to prepare for the coming storms.
