The Full Moon Itself
Full Moon Libra peaks at 23 Lib 22’00” on April 12th, 2025 at 5:22 PM PDT / April 13th, 2025 at 12:22 AM UTC.
This Full Moon culminates in third decan of Libra, the seventh sign of partnerships and relationships, and in the decan also ruled by Mercury, which handles Gemini, so we have communications issues with relationships that are coming to light now. Trust me on this, I’m sorta-kinda dealing with this right now.
That doesn’t entirely mean romantic relationships either. Got comms issues with coworkers or clients or vendors or people working for you? Those get highlighted with this Full Moon.
Aries is where the Sun is right now, which fits as each Full Moon is Sun opposite Moon. We’re in a time of completion, things playing out, tying up loose ends, and/or seeing what else has to be dealt with soon. With the Sun in the sign of the self, and in the Sagittarius/Jupiter-ruled third decan of Aries at that, the concept of wanderlust in relationships kicks in. Got one of those relations that’s a real pain in the ass? It could end soon, one way or another.
Pick, the best way to do this. And protect your own interests. After all, you don’t want to miss out on trading up to the next, better link because you stayed with old busted.
But if old isn’t so busted, and is actually working out well for you and the other? Then redouble your efforts and bask in that glow.

Venus Stops Screwing Around
Let’s get to the root of many matters: Venus retrograde ends less than an hour after the Full Moon goes exact. Also, New Moon Libra quincunxes Venus Station Direct, 151 Abundantia, and 114 Kassandra in Pisces. Now, while the New Moon is at peak, Venus is technically still retrograde, so that imprint is hitting just slightly, and Venus has its own issues as Saturn Pisces effectively joins this little quincunx union.
Let’s get to it: Venus is going to shift gears and go into the post-retrograde shadow period, where we get to deal with the nice little cleanup of our relationship and money issues until at least May 16th. And this during the influence of the Full Moon in the sign of Libra, a sign of … relationships. Are we noticing a theme here?
Furthermore, we’ve got 151 Abundantia here, which speaks to… abundance. Do we feel abundant? How’re our portfolios doing? (Mine? Not so great). And we’ve got this paired with Kassandra, which is named for a figure in mythology who attempted to warn others of peril, but did anyone listen? Of course not. Now people reap the consequences of not heeding those warnings, and now it’s time to figure it out, or continue finding out.
Oh Hey, More Intensity
New Moon Libra, along with 128 Nemesis in Libra, also forms a weak T-Square with Mars apexing in Cancer, and of course we have Chiron and Eris joining the Sun in Aries.
Yeah, this is not the most pleasing of transits. But there’s certainly some potential opportunity for cathartic healing. Your wounds will be exposed and you will confront them with this transit. And if you have Capricorn placements from 22-27 Capricorn? Enjoy the Grand Cross by transit. (I’ve got Juno retrograde in my natal chart there, opposing my own natal Jupiter and Black Moon Lilith in Cancer. Yeah, it’s playing out in ways I’m not thrilled with as I’m writing this.)
So Mars in Cancer is already a bit of a steam bath. It’s the fourth sign of home, private life, and maternal issues, so this could also indicate pregnancies if you’re not careful right now. I imagine there will be more of those conversations before too long with some couples (or even non-couples, and I’m not talking immaculate conceptions).
Chiron is just exiting cazimi as the Full Moon peaks, so the Sun-Moon opposition at least in part had Chiron in that cazimi position (which is normally within 16 or so minutes of a degree for the conjunction to the Sun). So healing is definitely amplified with this Full Moon. Some relationships have the potential to be salvaged and the issues corrected. Others will be corrected and healed by walking away. Many of you already know what has to happen, now you have to go and do it. Or get help to do it if it’s a potentially violent situation. Not all dissolutions are easy or safe, I get it.
Eris adds an element of chaos to this Full Moon. Watch for those “golden apple” moments getting thrown into the fray (like when Eris threw hers into the contest between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. That ended, after a chain of events, in the Trojan War. Not a fun time and not a short-time conflict either. So watch out if you’re in a contest and a prize “for the fairest” pops up. Could be a trap.
And… of course we can’t forget the Full Moon conjunction to Nemesis. Retribution, adversaries. Is your significant other an enemy and causing you open harm? Ditch the bitch. I’m not sugarcoating this. And that means if the “bitch” is a dude too. Let’s be real: males who abuse women in relationships are not men. They’re boys. And they don’t deserve any relationships until they stop being abusers.
Some Potential for Revelry?
Full Moon Libra trine 2063 Bacchus and 2629 Rudra, along with a wide trine to Jupiter in Gemini could indicate some potential fun times, but be aware.
Jupiter in Gemini is already in a weakened state, and as this trine is over 5 degrees in orb, it’s rather marginal. The stronger trines are between Bacchus and Rudra.
Bacchus is a deity of excess and fine wine. Basically a tendency to party with this. The dangers of this is that you could let a fun time slip through your fingers, as trines have the dark side of laziness and not doing the work. Of course, this could also lead to a hangover if you go too hard into the revelry.
Rudra I see as an amplifier, so there could be some major party potential. Just watch the hangover if you go that route.
I suppose there could also be the potential for infidelity with this as well (like a drunken one-night stand while away from the wife or husband or whoever). Those in open relationships or swinger situations might have some fun with this and be alright, I suppose.
Other Aspects Active During This Full Moon
Would You Like Some Astrology With Your Pisces?
Mercury, fresh out of its retrograde a few days earlier but still in post-retrograde shadow of its own, conjuncts: Neptune in Aries (offsign conjunction), Venus station direct, Saturn, 3402 Wisdom, and the North Node all in Pisces. Yeah, there’s a lot going on with this stellium.
Inside the Pisces Stellium also lies 114 Kassandra, 4580 Child, and 11144 Radiocommunicata.
Mercury’s already not in the strongest point as its opposing one of its domiciles, Virgo. So what we say may be getting lost in the aether just a bit. And it’s still recovering from the retrograde period until it hits close to 10 Aries, so we’re going to have to double-check our communications for awhile.
Given Venus in its slowdown and move-it-back-forward mode, our communications about relationships, money, partnerships, not looking too stable here. There’s still the tendency to want to put on the rose-colored glasses and hope for the best.
Saturn, however, not only rips off the rose-colored glasses, but it’s throwing those to the ground and stepping on them. Repeatedly. Saturn here wants us to be realistic with our expectations in what we say and our partnerships and money right now. And, when it gets really strict, it starts blocking money and relationships and such. Didn’t put in some good or wise work in these? No reward for you. Wait, you did put in the hard work and discipline, and things are lining up? Then you might end up ok.
The North Node also here is stating this time period as a fated point in time. Are we doing what we need to do to get to where we really wanted or needed to go with all of this? Or do you have a metric shitton of work to do? Get cracking.
Neptune in Aries in conjunction range to Mercury and the rest here, we’re finding that sweet nothings, dreams, daydreams, and illusions of love and mysticism are being burnt away. Neptune’s kinda had it with the “granola under the tree, we’re all friends here” mode, and is raising its fist in “seize the means of destiny” mode. In other words, ideologies, wishes, dreams, they’re going to get not a bit more aggressive… it’s going to get a lot more aggressive. Of course, Neptune will retrograde and take one final dip into Pisces later on, but for now, the rhetoric and demands of ill-advised partners are going to get more vocal. And a lot more active.
With Kassandra here, protests and warnings against illusions and chasing phantoms will likely go unheeded, so only offer advice to those who actively ask for it. Unsolicited advice will likely, and should be ignored.
Child here, well, you’ve got people who are going to revert to the mindset of a child, or are acting like they’ve hit their second, third, or fourth childhoods. We may need the patience of saints to deal with this.
Radiocommunicata here adds to the communications mayhem. Expect propaganda, advertising, and other forms of “whispering campaigns” to intensify. Verify before deciding whether to trust or not.
I would not advise buying a Tesla right now, whether you’re on the left or right. As a symbol of Elon Musk and as an electric vehicle, it’s a bullseye for both.
Also, god help anyone who’s going through a Nodal Return or a Nodal Opposition (like myself with my own Nodal Opposition right now… yeah.) The themes going on right now, make sure you know which way is up.
Contain the BS
The Mercury/Venus/Saturn/North Node/Neptune stellium square 26955 Lie in Sagittarius doesn’t play well with us. Clearly there’s some bull being fed to us. This is something we’ll have to deal with.
People can promise changes and other good things, but I wouldn’t buy it right now. Anything promised right now shouldn’t be counted on, whether it be because of intentional fabrication, or because the promiser is lying to themselves in their ability to actually deliver.
Mercury stellium sextile 2601 Bologna in Taurus and trine 12927 Pinocchio and Mars in Cancer does add a bit of another angle to this. Perhaps some people are attempting to correct some bullshit right now. But… it’s going to take some doing to get this done. Trines and sextiles require work to be done.
The other side of it is with Mars and Pinocchio together, it could also represent a drive to grow and become “a real boy.” Maybe it actually happens for a few stragglers out there.

Outer Planet Mayhem
Uranus and 829 Academia conjunct Algol in Taurus suggest some heads rolling in the halls of, well, academia. With the DOGE chainsaw ripping through the U.S. Government, and with ICE apparently arresting a number of student protestors and student visa cancellations, stay frosty and keep your damn head down.
Uranus was last on Algol near the attack on Pearl Harbor, so expect carnage if this authoritarian bullshit continues. And it will continue. And get worse. You are warned.
Uranus does trine Saturn within that Pisces Stellium, so within chaos, perhaps you can harness some discipline and figure it all out amidst the carnage.
Jupiter conjunct 545 Messalina in Gemini and square Ceres in Pisces denotes a high potential for cheating and homewrecking, in my view. And, some won’t even know they’re being played or cheated on. Or, worse: The cheating is blatant and in-your-face. A measure of “yeah you know about it, what are you going to do about it?”
Jupiter quincunx Vesta retrograde in Scorpio may have an answer: look within for answers, and figure out what you’re going to do about it. Where is your red line? What will it take for you to stand up for your integrity and do what you need to do? What will you do to end this desecration of what you held dear and sacred?
Finally, Pluto in Aquarius opposing 3811 Karma in Leo does not sound fun, and that’s a setup for Easter weekend’s Grand Cross to Taurus Sun, Pluto, Mars which will be in Leo conjunct Karma, and Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, as Karma will still be around this point. So yes, you need to tear down something to build something better around the rest of this lunar cycle before the Taurus New Moon that will be coming in a couple of weeks.
And, if you don’t deal with the issue by then, it’ll probably be done for you. Probably in the most chaotic, surprising and/or controlling matter, whatever it is.
Anyone with placements early in the fixed signs (Taurus/Leo/Scorpio/Aquarius) is feeling this one pretty hard, and that Grand Cross is really going to do a number on a lot of people one week from this Full Moon.
